Why Newronedu exists
Agatha Chelsea's story, from dreaming of teaching to a learning community.
Chapter 01A small dream
“wanted to be a teacher when i was 6, and here i am years later becoming a guest lecturer. life really does work in mysterious ways”
It all started with wanting to teach
At six, Agatha wanted to be a teacher. The road took a detour, through stages, screens and university. But the wish never left: helping people understand something that used to feel complicated.
Chapter 02Storytelling
Ten years of learning how to make people listen
For more than ten years Agatha told stories through music, film, TV and digital media. There she learned what would become the heart of Newronedu: people don't remember facts, they remember stories.
Chapter 03Brain & people
Then she learned why stories stick
Agatha studied Neuroscience & Psychology at the University of Melbourne and brought it back to storytelling. At the Jakarta Creator Conference (2024) she shared how to make content from the brain's point of view:
- Start strong, finish strongerWe remember the first and the last thing best (the primacy and recency effects).
- One consistent identityThe same colours, setting and sound make you easy to recognise.
- Repeat, repeat, repeatWhat's repeated is what's remembered.
Chapter 04The classroom
And back to the first dream
Agatha is now doing a Master's at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology: the craft of designing how people learn. She has started teaching as a guest lecturer too. The six-year-old finally stands at the front of the class.
Chapter 05Why Newronedu
Why
Because ordinary people's questions deserve serious answers
A child who's growing up differently, a major that feels wrong, a habit that won't let go. The answers are in the science of the brain and people, but they're often locked in journals and jargon. Newronedu exists to open them up, in everyday language, so you don't have to figure it all out alone.
- 01
Everyday language
Hard terms retold until you can picture them. That's why there's a wiki of 99 terms.
- 02
Sources, not hearsay
Explanations rest on research (Google Scholar, not AI), and sensitive topics are reviewed by a psychologist.
- 03
Understanding means retelling
If you can explain it, you understand it. That's the core of the Challenge.
- 04
Together, not alone
You don't have to keep it to yourself. A group discusses one topic a week and answers your questions.
Chapter 06One question
What it looks like
Let's follow one question to the end
This is what it's like to bring a question to Newronedu. For example: “Why do I keep procrastinating when I know how not to?”
- Confused
“Why do I keep procrastinating when I know how not to?”
- Find out
Procrastination: Procrastination is deliberately putting off a task even though you expect the delay to leave you worse off.
Read the wiki (Indonesian) - Try it
Can you explain why we procrastinate in 1 minute, without notes? Write it, then compare with the wiki.
Try the Challenge - Together
This week the group talks about “putting things off because you're afraid to fail”. You're not thinking about this alone.
Join the group
Confused → find out → try → together. Let's figure it out together.
Follow Agatha

Still confused? That's exactly where the story begins.Bring your questions, you don't have to figure it out alone
The group is free and open. Come in, read along, and ask when you're ready. No pressure.
Free, and you can leave any time if it doesn't feel right. The group chats in Indonesian.
